The Conical KF-50 to KF-40 reducers or reducing adaptors are used in KF, also referred to as NW, assemblies. The Conical KF-50 to KF-40 reducers have NW-50 to NW-40 flange size and are made of stainless steel. These Conical reducing adaptors are used together with a centering rings or o-rings and quick clamps. The clamps are assembled with wing nuts to insure ease of use over time without tools. A uniform application of pressure on the clamp insures a vacuum seal. The mating flange surfaces compress the o-ring, which is held in place by a metal centering ring generating vacuum seal.
