The glove box is a laboratory equipment that fills the box with high purity inert gas and circulates and filters out the active material in it. It is also called vacuum glove box, inert gas protection box, etc. The main function is the removal of O2, H2O, organic gases. Glove box is divided into industrial glove box and biological glove box.
The basic technical indicators of industrial glove box are:
water content≤1ppm;
oxygen content≤1ppm;
transition chamber can withstand vacuum≥100pa;
the leak rate ≤ 0.05Vol% /h.
1.Installation environment
The installation condition of industrial glove box has three requirements of water, electricity and gas. The voltage is 220V. Water is connected to the cooling water outlet of the purification system until the tank is full. The valve does not need to be open for long-term. In the case of gas, we need to provide inert gas (N2 or Ar) and gas mixture (90% of N2 or Ar, 10% of H2). If there is no such gas mixture, we can also use N2 or Ar and H2 pure gas to mix in proportion instead.
2. Use of water sensor and oxygen sensor
Water sensor and oxygen sensor are the instruments to measure and display the water and oxygen content in the tank. If the glove box is not equipped with a sensor, just can not display the water content and oxygen content inside the box, and does not affect the function of the product itself.
3. How to choose a glove box
First, customers determine how many people need to operate the glove box. Glove box is at least 1 person to operate, and the most is not limited. 1 person operation of the glove box generally has the following dimensions: two gloves on one side. Box size is about 1200(l) × 700(w) × 900mm(h). Glove box of Single-sided 3 gloves is about 1800 × 750 × 900mm. Then the customer should clearly tell the manufacturer the materials that may be in contact with the box, so as to determine the material of the glove box. Finally, according to own experiments, production requirements, to determine the necessary configuration list, so as to avoid the acquisition of unwanted parts. For example, the experiment on the water content requirements of strict but no requirements for oxygen content, you can not buy oxygen sensor instruments.
4. Function
Closed cycle: The vacuum glove box and gas purification system constitute a closed cycle system, and the gas purification system provides gas circulation power.
Human-machine conversation: Configured with color touch screen and Chinese interface to realize human-machine conversation and convenient operation.
Automatic control (by the color touch screen human-machine interface and PLC program control system integrated control of the system).
Functions: hand/automatic control of the box pressure; hand/automatic control of the purification state of the gas purification system; automatic control of the gas purification system reduction process; hand/automatic purification system reduction, purification and conversion of the purification column (when configured with double purification column); automatic box atmosphere alarm; box atmosphere and Automatic chamber atmosphere alarm; automatic chamber atmosphere and pressure parameter setting and manual/automatic conversion; parameter setting of automatic control function of gas purification system; access to system history records; actuator condition detection of gas purification system; operation error and warning indication of program control system; reduction and regeneration purification system adopts renewable/reduced purification material, reduction procedure is controlled automatically by the system; reduction and regeneration need to meet the power supply and the mixture of hydrogen (5-10%) and inert gas.
